Drive process performance through data analysis, optimization, and cross-functional collaboration at every stage, from crushing to tailings.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and analysis of process parameters at the assigned production site (crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching, Merrill-Crowe, detoxification, tailings storage).

  • Identify deviations from production targets and initiate corrective actions to ensure optimum gold recovery, throughput and reagent efficiency.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing process efficiency, reducing costs and improving metallurgical performance.

  • Collect and verify production, metallurgy and process data on a daily basis.

  • Prepare site performance reports using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as recovery, reagent consumption, water use and downtime.

  • Support monthly and quarterly metallurgical reviews through data analysis and reporting.

  • Collaborate with metallurgical and laboratory teams to plan and execute test programs at laboratory and pilot level.

  • Analyze test results and help scale improvements to full production level.

  • Monitoring and interpretation of sample analysis data, support for process modeling.

  • Help identify process bottlenecks, equipment inefficiencies and quality issues.

  • Close cooperation with technical service teams to promptly resolve technological issues.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety, health and environmental standards in the process area.

  • Participation in risk assessment, hazard analysis and HAZOP reviews.

  • Support for the start-up and commissioning of new equipment or production areas.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of gold processing technologies (crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching, CIP/CIL, tailings).

  • Ability to analyze process data and optimize metallurgical performance.

  • Knowledge of mass balancing methods, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and process control systems.

  • Experience in preparing technical documentation and confident use of Microsoft Office programs.

  • Effective problem solving and troubleshooting skills in a production environment.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to interact with operators, technical and maintenance teams.

  • Commitment to safety standards, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement initiatives.
