The Bashtavak Gold Deposit, situated in the Almalyk ore district, represents another promising area of activity for Multinational Mine Group, with geotechnical studies and metallurgical testworks at advanced stages.
The Bashtavak licence area is located within the Almalyk Ore District, approximately 15 km south of the Kalmakyr and Yoshlik I mines, which are among the world’s leading copper deposits in terms of reserves and production. The licence area is also situated 8 km southwest of the Kauldy gold mine, northeast of the Altyn Topkan lead-zinc mine in Tajikistan, and 3 km north of the Sardoba lead mine.
Surrounded by some of the region’s most prolific deposits, it lies 15 km south of the Kalmakyr and Yoshlik I mines, 8 km southwest of the Kauldy gold mine, and 3 km north of the Sardob lead mine. Sharing similar geological features with the Karasay field, Bashtavak holds significant potential for further exploration.
Preliminary work at Bashtavak has been substantial, including topographic mapping, geophysical and geochemical surveys. Laboratory analysis has been conducted on more than 25,000 samples to date.
Early findings point to porphyry-related epithermal mineralization with promising silver, gold, and copper grades. Resource estimation and drilling activities remain ongoing.
